Preliminary Consulting

Fewer New Built Homes Available
This means home buyers in search for a new home will need to consider building a custom home. Building a custom home involves purchasing a home site, purchasing/designing a home plan and contracting with a builder for the construction of the home. In most cases the home buyer would be responsible for the financing of the site purchase and home construction and this is easily done with a “Construction Perm Loan”.
Shopping For Your Homesite
Currently land is plentiful and affordable due to the home building slow down. Buyers should have no problem finding a home site, but knowing if the site is buildable or not, should be evaluated by a builder. Hartsfield Construction offers free site evaluation to assist buyers in finding a home site that is suitable for the budget and size of the home and free from any negative or potentially expensive impacting issues. Hartsfield Construction also has an inventory of home sites available for purchase and they also offer free home plan design.
Computerized Home Design Service
Designing the home to fit the home site is key. The cost of construction should be considered during the design and that is the benefit to meeting with the builder before or early in the design phase in order to have the finished set of plans matching the construction budget. Hartsfield Construction has the ability to design and complete the home plans and/or modify any existing home plans.
Homesite Reviewing & Consulting
In most cases there is no fee for this type of consultation. Hartsfield Construction can evaluate the home site, design a draft home plan, create the home specifications document and provide home buyers with a construction cost estimate with detailed break downs of each specific cost and allowance budget for the home buyer to review. This all can be done before any commitment or purchase of land is made.
